Evinrude Outboard Motors
Evinrude outboard motors are probably the most popular outboard motor there is today. Evinrude was founded in 1909 and the rest is history as they say. While the brand has changed hands several times since its creation, the quality if anything has only improved. In fact, current owner’s BRP recently won the Clean Air Excellence Award by the EPA.
These engines make use of efficient fuel injection and they also have a model called the MFE, or multi fuel injection. This baby can run on kerosene and all you have to do is move the switch and now you can use gas.
To this day Evinrude outboard motors are among the classiest on the market and they have only grown stronger since introducing the E-Tec engines. Like everything else, the type of motor you’re going to buy is going to be wholly dependent upon its use. Multi-Fuel Evinrude Outboard Motor
This comess in only one size 55hp but in two drive versions a prop or jet drive. These were built for military use and are now available to the public therfore these are the hardiest and most reliable engines that you could buy.Its the first outboard engine that’s capable of running on multiple fuel types, including kerosene, JP-4, JP-5, JP-8, Jet A and Jet B as well as standard gasoline.
